Meeting an American Housewife
August 12, 2010
Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Margaret Dilloway at a reading and book-signing of her debut novel, How to be an American Housewife. She read passages of her book and answered questions from a standing-room only crowd tonight at the Barnes & Noble in Grossmont Center here in San Diego.
Her novel is wonderful — well-written, poignant, engaging, and the characters are as life-like as real people. It’s a wonderful story, especially if you like tales of mother-daughter relationships. And just today, How to be an American Housewife received four stars (out of four) in People magazine!
