Summer Fun: The List

July 10, 2010

Can you believe summer ends in only eight short weeks?! Yep, that’s right. In eight week, it will be Labor Day, the traditional end of summer that typically corresponds with back-to-school week.

Since we’re half-way done, I thought I’d share our summer fun “to do” list. You can see by the items listed under “Accomplished” which things we’ve already done.

By the way, I can’t take credit for this idea. I stole it (and a few of the items) from two of my favorite blogs: Whatever and Flip Flop Follies. Check out these blogs; you’ll love them! Thanks for the inspiration, ladies!

Well, I think you’ve accomplished most of your “to Do” list. The patriotic cupcakes were awesome, as well as the patriotic jello stars! Need to add to your To Do list – Sophie swims in Grandma and Granddad’s pool. Love to go to the Zoo or Animal Park with you two – unless it’s too shwitzy. Would also love to take Sophie up on the train to visit her cousin Samuel and her Aunt Ellye. Huh? Huh? Can I? When? Maybe on your surgery date? Enjoy the rest of the summer and DON’T think about the end of summer =) Keep on bloggin’ Leah. Love to read them.

Have you made the salted caramel cupcakes yet? They sound intriguing. Share the recipe, please!
