The Summer List: How Did We Do?
Since we’re now officially into the fall season, I decided to close out summer and show you the outcome of our 2012 Summer List. Here was our list when school ended in June.
Here’s what we accomplished.
As you can see, we didn’t accomplish everything and we made a few adjustments. Overall it was a great summer! Here are some of the highlights from the list.
Sophie completed the Summer Reading Program.
We enjoyed root beer floats 🙂
We went to the San Diego Zoo.
We ate ice cream …
A lot of ice cream!
Sophie had fun at summer camp.
We visited a fire station where Sophie and her friend got to “drive” the fire truck.
And of course, we went to the beach!
What was the best thing you did this summer?

I LOVE your summer list! 🙂
Xx
Well done getting so much of the list ticked off. At the beginning, I thought it would be more like one of my lists – staying with only the “haircut” ticked off 😀
Great job on focusing on what really matters! 🙂

Great photos! Love the beach ones. Nothing like kids, sand, and water.
I love the summer recap — and wow, Sophie is looking like such a big girl now. *sigh* My “little girl” is turning 21 this week, and I miss those days. Good good times 🙂
Fun! Blueberry and Strawberry picking can wait until next summer 🙂 and Sea World is better during the off-season.
I usually make a list like that for myself in January (instead of resolutions) but you and Sophie did much better than I do. Looks like it was a fabulous summer!
Looks like you had a wonderful summer! Fun photos!
I’m glad you were able to have such a full summer. Thank you for sharing your photos. I particularly like the zoo photo. Sophie clearly had some fun there!
Looks like you guys had loads of fun! And so glad to see Sophie and her friend are still hanging out — every time I saw those bits of popcorn in the stairwell, I’d remember their first day of fun together. 😉
And I *almost* can’t wait for Lou to be old enough for lists of summer fun (I say almost because I cannot believe how quickly he’s growing up)!
What a wonderful summer!
What a great summer! Isn’t the San Diego zoo fun?
Can I spend my summer with you next year? Your to do bulletin board (ultra organized, I must say) had me salivating!
What an awesome summer! Sweet! 🙂
I love your summer to-do chart. Great idea. And as always, I love your family pictures. Your blog makes me want to DO, and GO, and ENJOY.
We did two amazing things this summer. First (but not most important), we went to Disney World with my sisters and their families. We had a magical time with family members we don’t have the privilege of seeing often. Second (and most important), we married off my oldest daughter to a wonderful man that is crazy about her. It just doesn’t get better than that. Mickey & Marriage all in the same season. Yay for summer!
