On January 1, I started a new perpetual journal. This type of journaling involves putting the day (month/date) at the top of the page and writing a sentence or two for that year. Eventually you’ll have a page with multi-year entires. My last journal spanned five years: 2017 through 2021.
I love this type of journaling, which I do before I go to bed each night. And as much as I enjoyed reading the previous years’ entries before writing my current one, it feels right to start 2022 with a new journal — a blank page, if you will, with nothing behind … only possibilities in front.
