Baking Gone Wild

Tis the season to bake! And I have gone baking wild in the last week.

The confections started with a knock-off version of the Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bar that was my contribution to the office cookie exchange. I LOVE those Starbucks bliss bars. This recipe comes pretty darn close to the real thing.

Continuing with the cranberry theme, I made cranberry eggnog muffins.  By itself, I’m not a big fan of eggnog. But these muffins are amazing!

Apparently the muffins taste better if the “muffin liner” is dressed as a princess. Then I moved on to Christmas Cherries, which I’d never baked before. And I will for sure be making them again. These are like little citrus shortbread cookies. Pioneer Woman (who supplied this recipe) uses the green candied cherries too. But the green ones scare me; so I opted for red.Now for the chocolate! Pioneer Woman strikes again with Toffee Squares. And last, but not least, Peanut Butter Balls “Buckeyes.” This was a special request from Bryan. All I can say is, YUM!

So there you have it … baking gone wild!
