I don’t care much for January and February. Too much darkness, really. And the beginning of the year always feels heavy to me. … Today after my run, I stopped into a local coffee and floral shop. While waiting for my drink, the bouquets of flowers caught my eyes; and while I initially turned away, the beautiful yellow, orange and white petals pulled me back. I took this bright bouquet that screamed of spring up to the counter, along with a bag of freshly-ground coffee beans. … Spring may be 55 days away, but at least the inside of my house has a touch of brightness and cheer.
