That’s a wrap on the role of Maleficent for Disney’s “Descendants.” 🎭
After two months of rehearsals and a lot of dedication, Sophie came down with a cough and lost her singing voice at the start opening night. She made it through the evening and her solo with grace, and then was ordered not to speak to preserve her voice. She did it and sounded beautiful for the remaining two days of productions.
I’m incredibly proud of Sophie for pushing herself through and learning a lesson about improvising and how life, and musicals, don’t always go as planned. ❤️🎶🖤
